Magic Arena: When Children Turn Dreams into Art

Spotlights, bright costumes, real emotions and true wonders — this is how the Magic Arena festival unfolded together with incredible young performers.

A Festival That Leaves a Mark on the Heart

Magic Arena is more than just performances — it is a space where children’s talent blossoms under the dome of inspiration. This year we witnessed true artistry: young performers from various circus studios showcased an impressive level of skill. Acrobatics, juggling, clowning — all performed with love, courage, and professionalism.

The People Who Create the Magic

We sincerely thank the heads and teachers of the studios who invest their hearts into their students every day. Thanks to their work, children not only master circus arts but also gain self-confidence, team spirit, and a desire to grow.

Workshops That Open New Horizons

Throughout the festival, numerous workshops were held, attracting a large number of participants. This once again shows how important such learning opportunities are. Children are eager to discover new things — and we are happy to give them that chance.

Special Awards of the Magic Arena Festival

This year the festival honored talented participants and studios with special awards from mentors, partners, and sponsors:

  • Special Award from festival mentor, magician Yevhen Voronin, presented by jury member Mykola Baranov to the exemplary pop and circus arts studio “Compliment”.

  • Special Award from the Magic Wings Charitable Foundation, presented by the foundation’s director Andriy Shmandrovskyy to the circus studio “Cabriole”.

  • Special Award from the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Circus and Performing Arts, presented by jury member and director of the Kyiv College of Circus and Performing Arts Myroslava Perysta to the director of “Little Stars” studio.

  • Special Award from festival mentor and equilibrist Anatoliy Zalevskyy, presented by jury member and head of the Circus Arts Department Nataliia Pozdniakova to Veronika Voitko, head of the youth circus “Ale-up”.

  • Special Award from Aluminum Ukraine LLC — a certificate for a set of spools presented by company representative Viktor Berehovei to “Triumph” studio.

  • Video greetings and special awards from festival mentors — aerial duo Oleksii and Maryna Hryhorov, presented by jury member and circus arts instructor Iryna Pitsur.

  • Special Award from the festival clown trio “Equivoque,” bronze medalists of the Monte-Carlo Festival, presented by Oles Zhuravchak, artistic director of Pechersk Palace of Culture, to Maria Babaneko and Varvara Ivin, “Youth of Kyiv” circus.

  • Special Award from festival mentor Viktor Kee, presented by Oleksandr Yakovlev, Rector of the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Circus and Performing Arts, to young artist Milana Sysyn and Mykola Dobrovolskyi, head of the folk circus studio “Cascade.”

Best Circus Studios of the Year

  • Bronze Award — Studio of the Year: Winner — “Triumph” studio. Award presented by Oleh Ovchynnikov (European Construction Technologies) and Serhii Butko (Vilomix Ukraine LLC).

  • Silver Award: Winner — “Edelweiss” circus studio. Award presented by Viktor Berehovyi (Aluminum Ukraine LLC).

  • Gold Award and the festival’s Grand Prize: Winner — youth circus “Ale-up”. Award presented by Oleksandr Yakovlev (Rector of the Academy), Oles Zhuravchak (Artistic Director of Pechersk Palace of Culture), and Andriy Shmandrovskyy (Festival Director and Director of the Magic Wings Foundation).
