An All-Ukrainian Circus Art Festival “Magic Arena” Will Take Place in Kyiv
On April 26–27, 2025, Kyiv will host the first All-Ukrainian Circus Art Festival "Magic Arena" — a large-scale event that will bring together young performers, circus studios, and industry professionals from all over Ukraine.
The event is organized by the "Magic Wings" Charitable Foundation, which since 2022 has been implementing initiatives aimed at supporting children’s talents, developing the artistic environment, and creating quality educational and creative opportunities for children.
The festival will take place at the Pechersk Palace Cultural Center (3 Kniaziv Ostrozkykh Street) and will become not only a celebration of art but also a new platform for exchanging experiences among studios, teachers, and performers.
A unique format — focusing on the circus studio as a whole, not just on individual participants
The “Magic Arena” Festival will be the first event in Ukraine where not only individual performances but also the overall contribution of the circus studio will be evaluated..
The main prize is a cash certificate for purchasing equipment for the winning studio:
This format makes it possible to recognize not only talented children but also the efforts of directors, coaches, and teams behind each performance.
Genre Diversity and Festival Program
Circus studios, ensembles, and individual performers working in the following genres are invited to participate:
April 26 — Qualifying round
April 27 — Gala concert and awards ceremony
During the festival, lectures and masterclasses will also be held, after which participants and studio leaders will receive certificates of professional development..
Professional Jury and Star Mentors
The jury will include renowned Ukrainian performers, professors from leading cultural institutions, honored artists, and representatives of the international circus community.
The festival will also be supported by star mentors.
Every Participant Is a Winner
In addition to the main awards, every festival participant will receive a commemorative medal and diploma, as well as the opportunity to perform on a big stage, see the work of other studios, and make new friends.
Circus studio leaders will receive letters of gratitude and video recordings of the performances.
