Special Awards of Magic Arena: International Recognition for Young Talents
One of the most anticipated parts of the Grand Finale of the 2nd All-Ukrainian Circus Art Festival "Magic Arena" was the presentation of special awards from the international jury and festival partners. These awards are not only recognition of mastery, but also real opportunities for professional development: international contracts, invitations to festivals, auditions, financial support, and introductions to leading representatives of the global circus industry.
Festival participants received special awards from representatives of international festivals, circus companies, and experts from around the world.
Special Awards of the "Magic Arena" Festival
- Kyiv City State Administration Award — Elina Ilyashenko for the act "Dangerous Walk of the Catgirl"
- Viktor Kee Special Award — Viktor Hulko (act "Victory") and Daria Revvo (act "Agent in Black")
- Circus Vargas Award — Veronika Nepomnyashcha for the act "Dreamcatcher"
- Sandor Donnert (Magical World of Circus) Special Award — Milana Sysyn for the act "Juggling"
- Adans Peres & Star Light Production Award — a one-month contract and the opportunity to represent Ukraine at a festival in Peru went to Anastasiia Horbatsevych for the act "Under the Rain"
- Cirque du Soleil Special Award — Kateryna Stepanko and Stepan Shelestyuk for the act "Under the Breath of the Sky"
- German Circus Roncalli Award — Sofiya Tepla and Marharyta Tabachnyk for the act "Strangers"
- Renee Massie Award — an invitation for an interview was awarded to Olesya Kucherenko and Daniil Bandura
- "Equivokee" Comic Trio Award — a $150 USD voucher for props or costumes was awarded to the "Kompliment" Studio
- Two 5,000 UAH vouchers from "Ukrainian Circus News" were received by Milana Sysyn and Daniil Bandura
- Joint International Jury Prize was won by the "Unicycles" group (act "Crew") from the "Triumf" Studio (Sviatopetrivske)
- Invitations to the international casting for the Albacete Festival (Spain) were awarded to Anastasiia Horbatsevych, Duo ElMaks, Daniil Bandura, Arina Hitenska, and Viktor Hulko
- Circus Roncalli Special Award for professional work during the festival was presented to hosts Tetiana Polishchuk, Anastasiia Melnychuk, Yuliia Nevporana, and Kateryna Korolenko
Ukrainian Talents Seen by the World
The special festival awards once again reaffirmed the primary mission of "Magic Arena" — opening new opportunities for Ukrainian children. Thanks to the participation of international festival directors, producers, and casting managers, young performers get the chance to make a name for themselves far beyond Ukraine, representing our nation on prestigious global stages.
Every such award is not just recognition of talent, but a step toward a great professional career. The festival organizers will continue working to provide Ukrainian children with even more opportunities to achieve their dreams and proudly represent Ukraine on the world stage.
